End Of Life Bill Passes Assembly Vote

The state Assembly has approved a controversial bill to let some terminally ill adults get prescription drugs to end their lives. The “End of Life Options Act” had passed out of the Senate, only to languish in an Assembly health committee. Democratic Assemblymember Susan Eggman brought the measure up in a special session on health care funding, where it won approval on a bi-partisan vote. Christopher Martinez reports from Sacramento.
