President Barak Obama has announced the first ever national limits on carbon emissions from power plants. His “Clean Power Plan” is being hailed by environmentalists as the nation’s biggest step in fighting climate change. The announcement could add momentum for the upcoming United Nations climate change conference in Paris in December, as well as elevating the issue in the presidential election campaigns.
