Prison inmate Hugo Pinell has been killed at New Folsom Prison at the age of 71. He was one of the prisoners known as the San Quentin Six. They were involved in an escape attempt from San Quentin 44 years ago that left six dead, including Black Panther George Jackson. Pinell assaulted two prison guards during the incident.
