Housing activists in San Francisco say they have enough signatures to place an initiative on the city's ballot in November to reform the rules governing short-term housing rentals in the city like Airbnb. The purpose of the ballot initiative is to impose effective restrictions against the short-term rental business which activists contend has exacerbated the city's housing crisis.
