In San Francisco tonight, a vigil and march is to be held on Folsom and 24th Street for Amilcar Perez-Lopez, starting at 6pm. Amilcar Perez-Lopez was a 20 year old Guatemalan immigrant shot and killed by San Francisco police on February 26th. A federal civil lawsuit was filed this morning against Police Chief Greg Suhr, the city and county of San Francisco, and the two officers involved in the shooting. The lawsuit alleges that Perez-Lopez was wrongfully killed. The attorneys representing Perez-Lopez are also calling for a federal investigation.
