Controversial StingRay Tech Prompts Lawsuits

The American Civil Liberties Union this week filed two lawsuits against police agencies in California that have refused to provide documents on their use of StingRays, technology which is used to track the location of smart phones and intercept phone calls and text messages. The ACLU sued Sacramento County Sheriff's Department in Northern California and the Anaheim police department in Southern California. Pacifica's Dan Fritz has this report from Los Angeles.
