State lawmakers are looking at the issue of police use of force in the wake of the Ferguson Missouri and Staten Island police killings of unarmed African Americans that sparked nation-wide protests. The chairs of the Assembly and Senate Public Safety Committees convened a day-long hearing on the issue at the state capitol. Christopher Martinez reports from Sacramento.
