State Senator Mark Leno is introducing a bill that would require police to get a warrant before getting data from people’s smart phones, tablets and laptop computers. Leno says his bill would update California’s privacy laws for the digital age, following the lead of states like Utah, Texas and Maine. Christopher Martinez reports.
