Kaiser Mental Health Care Workers End Week-long Strike

Hundreds of mental health care workers marked the final day of their week-long strike against Kaiser by convening today outside of One Kaiser Plaza in downtown Oakland to protest the lack of adequate mental health staff in California's Kaiser Permanente facilities. Optical workers also joined the protest due to a stalemate in negotiations. For the past four years, Kaiser staff have worked without renewed contracts or pay raises. Megan Susman filed this report.
