Activists Urge Fracking Moratorium

Anti-fracking activists are calling on Governor Jerry Brown to halt the controversial oil-drilling practice in California. Hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, involves injecting water and chemicals into wells to get them to produce more oil or gas. Opponents say fracking poses a threat to public health and the environment, and they’re calling on Brown to follow the lead of New York by imposing a moratorium on fracking. Christopher Martinez reports from Sacramento.
