Incumbent South Bay congressman Mike Honda and challenger Ro Khanna faced off in their first and only debate before the November election. The highly watched campaign is a Democrat vs. Democrat race for the 17th congressional district seat, after Republican candidates lost in the “top two” primary. 73-year old Honda touts his experience and accomplishments in office, while 38-year-old Khanna is calling for a passing of the torch.
