Senator Barbara Boxer Rallies with Parents in Support of Medical Malpractice Measure



Supporters of a measure that will appear on California’s November ballot say it aims to curb medical malpractice, one of the leading causes of death in the state. Prop 46 would increase the cap on non-economic damages awarded in medical malpractice lawsuits to just over one million dollars. Prop 46 supporters, including Senator Barbara Boxer and victims’ parents, rallied in San Francisco. Pacifica’s Nick St. Charles filed this report.
