Fresno Group Prods Police to Improve Investigation of Officer Involved Shootings

A Fresno police watchdog group is expressed its concern Wednesday over the investigation of officer involved shootings in the city. At a press conference held in front of City Hall, the Central California Criminal Justice Committee questioned why it typically takes a year to investigate a police shooting incident. The group is calling for reforms in the investigation procedure, including getting help from outside experts, and for the City to implement a police mediation process. Vic Bedoian reports from Fresno.
