Environmentalists Blast Bay Delta Plan

Environmental groups are blasting a controversial plan to ship water around the Bay Delta through massive tunnels. They say the proposed “Bay Delta Conservation Plan”, or BDCP, could lead to the extinction of winter-run Chinook salmon, as well as other endangered species. The twin tunnel proposal is a key part of the plan, and a pet project of Governor Jerry Brown. Christopher Martinez reports.
