Governor Jerry Brown has signed into law a bill aimed at cracking down on anonymous political campaign contributions. Assembly Bill 800 by Menlo Park Democrat Richard Gordon will give the state Fair Political Practices Commission new power to audit suspicious campaign contributions before elections.
