Advocates Push to Extend Health Coverage to Undocumented Californians

Last Sunday was the fourth anniversary of President Obama’s signing of the Affordable Care Act, and Monday is the enrollment deadline for Covered California, the health insurance exchange created under the ACA. But not all California residents are eligible for coverage, a point immigrants’ rights advocates, doctors and researchers emphasized Friday afternoon at the Street Level Health Project in East Oakland.
