San Francisco is re-launching a program to increase access to solar panels for homeowners. The program is called “GreenFinanceSF.” It would allow homeowners to avoid the up-front costs of installing solar panels by making payments through their property taxes. Mayor Ed Lee and other supporters announced the program on the steps of San Francisco City Hall. Christopher Martinez reports.
