Lawmakers Support Student Bankruptcy Resolutiojn

State lawmakers are rushing to pass measures in the final two weeks of the legislative session, with pending measures dealing with prisons, gun and ammunition control, fracking, sexual identity and discrimination, and other controversial issues. In the first day of floor debate after the summer recess, State Senators moved to approve a resolution calling on Congress to pass federal measures on college debt, urging repeal of laws that exclude student loans from federal bankruptcy laws.
