Early Wednesday morning former Compton Mayor Omar Bradley conceded to his opponent, 31-year-old Aja Brown, a political newcomer and newcomer to the city. Brown won comfortably with 64 percent of the votes, paving the way for an historic and symbolic victory for Compton, a city still struggling with unemployment and diminished services over the past few years.
