Thousands of activists took to the streets of Southern California to commemorate International Workers Day. The main call this year is for comprehensive immigration reform, a version which was recently presented to Congress. In downtown LA, several thousand people marched through the heart of the city calling for an end to the separation of families and a pathway to citizenship for the estimated 11 million undocumented workers residing in the country.
