Santa Clara County Faces Budget Cuts to Section 8 Housing

The federal sequester cuts could push some low income individuals and families into homelessness. More than two million families across the country depend on federal section 8 vouchers to pay a large portion of their rent. Santa Clara County has one of the highest housing costs in the nation. The county housing authority says the sequester will force it to cut 21 million dollars from its Section 8 program. Irene Rible filed this report from San Jose.
