California’s non-partisan Legislative Analyst wants the State to create an independent Inspector General to oversee the state’s Developmental Centers. The move comes after allegations the State failed to investigate patient neglect, abuse, sexual assaults and deaths at the State’s board and care facilities for people with developmental disabilities.
