Los Angeles to Take Legal Action Over Arsenic Spewing Recycling Plant

The city of Los Angeles is preparing to take action to stop a battery recycling plant in the nearby tiny city of Vernon from polluting the air of surrounding areas. The city council has ordered city attorneys to figure out its options after local air officials warned that dangerous levels of arsenic are coming from a plant owned by Exide Technologies.
