A bill to ban single-use plastic bags is moving forward in the California Legislature. Assembly Bill 158 by Assemblymember Marc Levine of San Rafael would ban single-use plastic check-out bags in grocery, drug and convenience stores. The measure passed out of the Assembly Natural Resources Committee Monday afternoon. Christopher Martinez reports from Sacramento.
