A Los Angeles student has just returned from a trip to Washington D.C. where she raised the issue of the need to invest in the nation’s youth. She attended the Children and Family Summit along with participants such as US Secretary of Education Arne Duncan. KPFK’s Jasmine Broderick has the story.
