Prisoners' Rights Groups Sue Counties Over Realignment

Prisoners' Rights groups have filed suit against Riverside County in the latest legal battle over Governor Jerry Brown's Realignment effort. Facing deep budget issues and overcrowded jails, in 2011, Governor Brown moved many state prisoners to county jails, under a plan that has received much condemnation from county leaders across the state. Riverside county joins Alameda, Fresno and other counties facing lawsuits as county jail systems buckle under the strain of handling the influx of prisoners. Pacifica's Dan Fritz reports from Los Angeles.
