Advocates Call for Firing of California Toxic Substance Officials For Conflict of Interest

Advocates are calling on Governor Jerry Brown to fire two top deputies within the California Department of Toxic Substances Control. Both Chief Deputy Director Odette Madriago and Acting Deputy Director Stewert Black own multiple investments in companies the Department is tasked with regulating. The Department has taken criticism for years for being lax with enforcement. Pacifica's Dan Fritz reports from Los Angeles.
