Three Medical Marijuana Measures Headed to Los Angeles' May Ballot

The Los Angeles City Council has moved forward with a ballot initiative to regulate medical marijuana. The council voted 11-1 to start the drafting process through the city attorney's office. The council's initiative could end up competing with two other initiative headed towards the May ballot, sponsored by medical marijuana care-providers and their patients.
