State lawmakers are looking at measures to strengthen California’s gun control laws and prevent gun violence. The Senate and Assembly held a joint hearing at the state capitol Tuesday to look at the issue in the wake of recent mass shootings and an ongoing epidemic of gun violence in California cities.
