In a loss for gun control advocates in Southern California, the governing board of the Del Mar Fairgrounds did nothing Tuesday when dozens of protesters urged them to pull the plug on its regular gun shows. For two decades, five gun shows a year has brought in hundreds of thousands of dollars for the county-owned fairgrounds each year. And, according to the gun enthusiasts, the shows allow a safe and legal venue for them to exercise their constitutional right to own guns. Pacifica's Dan Fritz files this report.
