A well-known social justice activist and former gang member is speaking out after criminal charges were dismissed against him by a federal judge yesterday. Alex Sanchez, founder of Homies Unidos, was charged by federal prosecutors in 2008 with rackateering and conspiracy to commit murder. Although the gang interventionist expressed relief over the closed case, he says there's a chance the feds might come after him again. Pacifica KPFK’s Ernesto Arce files this report from Los Angeles.
