A diverse coalition described by some as a motley crew came together to demand the closure of the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay. The group, which included Republicans and Libertarians, as well as communists and anarchists, is also denouncing the NDAA, The National Defense Authorization Act of 2012. Participants of the action at the downtown LA federal building say the law and the prison are civil liberties violations and an affront to human rights. KPFK reporter Michael McTernan files this report.
