Palestinians from across Southern California and their supporters rallied outside of the Israeli Consulate in West Los Angeles. They denounced this week's bombing campaign of Gaza by the Israeli military as a violation of a ceasefire agreement between both sides. A small group of Jews held a counter-demonstration to defend what it called a sovereign nation's right to defend itself from terrorist attacks.
