Domestic Workers Use New Report to Fight for Rights

Domestic workers in California are getting ready for a new push for a “Domestic Workers Bill of Rights”. Governor Jerry Brown vetoed a measure to include domestic workers in worker protection laws that guarantee things like rest breaks, over-time pay and meal periods that other workers get. The domestic workers are hoping a new study on the plight of domestic workers will help change minds in the state capitol. Christopher Martinez reports.
