An Oakland-based civil rights attorney has filed a lawsuit alleging negligence on the part of the Chevron refinery in Richmond leading up to the August 6th fire that sent thousands to local hospitals and displaced many more. The lawsuit, which names nearly five thousand plaintiffs, is seeking monetary and punitive damages, but Chevron says it is already compensating victims and plans to fight. Alex Kekauoha reports.
