Medical Marijuana Advocates Ready for Their Day in Federal Court

After the city of Los Angeles overturned its ban on medical marijuana dispensaries Tuesday, medical cannabis advocates are refocusing their efforts on the court battle to lower marijuana's classification as a Schedule I drug under federal law. The advocates are pushing for reclassification as a way to get federal authorities to stand down from a recent surge in crackdowns on medical cannabis dispensaries.
