LGBT Advocates Form New Coalition With LAUSD Against Teen Bullying and Suicide

A new coalition in Los Angeles is bringing together LGBTQ advocates and the Los Angeles Unified School District to combat teen suicide and school bullying. PROJECT S.P.I.N., Suicide Prevention and Intervention Now, aims to UNITE the various support systems for LGBTQ and suicidal students inside and outside of schools. The group is raising awareness and identifying holes in the safety net for at-risk students. Pacifica's Dan Fritz reports from Los Angeles.
