S.F. City College Trustees Vote for State Overseer

Student protesters briefly shut down a raucous meeting of San Francisco City College trustees last night. Trustees ultimately voted to ask the state to oversee finances at California's largest community college system. Student protesters wanted trustees to reject austerity measures and retain local control. The accrediting commission for community college has given CCSF until next spring to correct deficiencies in management and finances. Saadia Malik reports from San Francisco.
