Presidential candidate Mitt Romney addressed the annual gathering of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in downtown LA this afternoon. The GOP leader spoke about immigration, border enforcement and small businesses’ role in sparking the stagnant U.S. economy. He also used the platform to criticize what he called President Obama’s late response to China’s auto industry subsidies. Dozens of DREAM Act students and Democrat Latino lawmakers gathered outside of the Los Angeles Convention Center to protest and offer a rebuttal to Romney’s policies.
