Suspended Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi joined more than a hundred supporters at a City Hall rally, the day before the San Francisco Board of Supervisors is scheduled to get an Ethics Commission report recommending official misconduct charges against Mirkarimi. Supporters of Mirkarimi blast the suspension process as a political attack by Mayor Ed Lee and other more conservative interests against a progressive elected official who won more votes in his election than did Mayor Lee.
