CSU Trustees Ready a 5% Tuition Increase if Prop. 30 Fails

According to a contingency plan making its way through the California State University Board of Trustees, students would pay 5% more for tuition if Proposition 30 fails in November. The Trustees' Finance committee approved the plan today and it's expected to pass a full board meeting tomorrow. Students and faculty spoke out against the plan at the board's meeting in Long Beach.
