Anaheim City Council Holds Special Session

The Anaheim City Council held a special meeting today to hear concerns from the community over last week’s fatal shootings and to discuss private city matters. The meeting came under criticism from residents who say many who wanted to voice their concerns at last Tuesday’s city council were once again denied the opportunity to address Anaheim leaders. Only a handful of residents were able to attend the hastily arranged mid-afternoon meeting. After a short public comment, council members went into closed session where they discussed an ACLU lawsuit concerning the voter rights of under-served communities. Pacifica KPFK’s Ernesto Arce has more from Anaheim.
