Santa Monica College Student Protesters Pepper Sprayed

The president of Santa Monica College is defending Tuesday night's pepper spraying of student protesters, saying campus police were trying to preserve public and personal safety. President Chiu Tsang also said the college has launched a full investigation. Campus police sprayed student protesters when they tried to force their way into a meeting of college trustees. The meeting was set to discuss a two-tier fee system that student protesters say would privatize education at the college. Margot Paez reports.
