Prison Reform Activists Urge Lawmakers To Cut Prisons Budget

Opponents of prison expansion are calling on lawmakers to stop all prison and jail expansion and cut the prison and jail population. They're meeting with lawmakers days after the state prison agency unveiled its plan to cut prison population. Advocates say the plan marks a partial victory but does not go far enough.
