The Los Angeles Police Department held a symposium last night on suspicious activity reporting. The department’s Counter-Terrorism Bureau met with the community to discuss its concerns over LAPD Special Order 1, which allows for the filing of "Suspicious Activity Reports". Community activists called for an end to what they call an intrusive, costly and unconstitutional program. Ernesto Arce filed this report from Los Angeles.
