S.F. City Union Urges Reinstatement Of Gross Receipts Tax

San Francisco Supervisors and city workers called on San Francisco city hall to reform what they called outdated and unfair local business tax laws. They said rich corporations like Visa, Wells Fargo, Bank of America and First Republic Bank aren't paying their fair share of city taxes, while the city faces a 170 million dollar budget gap.
