The Los Angeles City Council approved new boundaries for its 15 council districts this afternoon. The 13-2 vote came after more than four hours of heated debate. The two dissenting councilmembers said they will file suit against the city. The issue threatens to divide so-called communities of interest along racial lines. Ernesto Arce has more from Los Angeles.
