Immigrant rights advocates in Los Angeles are calling on federal authorities to keep together the families of active duty and veterans. Immigration authorities already use their discretion in granting exemptions for children and spouses of active duty military personnel. But, as Dan Fritz reports, advocates say thousands of other families should also qualify for exemptions.
