Occupy Oakland And Opponents Hold Dueling Rallies

Occupy Oakland billed a series of protests today as a day “against
state repression.” They turned out to support protesters being
arraigned, to speak out against what they describe as police
repression, and the city’s newest tactic – protective orders barring
named individuals from getting near the plaza where they’ve been
protesting. Meanwhile, Occupy drew its first counterprotest today.
