L.A. Early Childhood Programs On The Chopping Block

Los Angeles Unified School District Superintendent John Deasy unveiled the latest round in massive budget cuts during a board meeting yesterday. The nation’s second largest district is facing a $557 million budget shortfall. Deasy says the LAUSD board of education has no other choice than to seriously consider cuts to critical programs.Ernesto Arce reports.
